As Post-sales Applications Engineer (AE) in the Solutions Group, you will work with a team of dynamic and highly skilled colleagues that provide technical support to customers of Synopsys’s DesignWare SERDES PHY IP.
We work closely with customers in different applications and pushing the envelope in different ways, through various design stages from SOC integration to Silicon bring up and ultimately contribute to customers’ success using Synopsys IP.
Requirements:
BS, MS with 3+ years of the ASIC work-experience.
Candidate must be highly independent with a “can-do” attitude coupled with a solid understanding and experience in ASIC design flow is required.
Domain knowledge of USB2.0/3.x/4, PCIe, SATA, MIPI, DisplayPort or HDMI protocol is a strong plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and negotiation skills is a must.
Time management skills to balance multiple high-priority tasks and projects.
Willingness to learn new skills and perform tasks that often go outside of the area of current expertise.
Highly Desirable:
Familiarity with one or more of the following area is preferred,
- SERDES design
- SI/PI modeling & analysis
- Interface IP design or verification
- SOC integration & verification
- Synthesis, DFT integration
- PNR, STA
- Post-silicon bring-up
